Educational experiences for students interested in careers in zoo and wildlife medicine are available through coursework combined with hands-on opportunities, as well as internships, externships and preceptorship programs at member zoo and wildlife facilities.  Cooperative exchange projects with overseas universities and institutions provide students with international exposure, professional work experience, and career contacts.
